We keep it simple: we collect as little as possible and never sell your data.
ViseVault LLC ("ViseVault," "we," "us," or "our") operates the ViseVault mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App.
We are committed to protecting your privacy. Our App is designed to work primarily with locally stored data, and we collect only what is necessary to provide our service.
When you download and use ViseVault, we may collect certain information automatically, including:
This information is collected to improve the App's performance and stability. It does not identify you personally.
ViseVault offers an in-app subscription managed entirely through Apple's App Store. We do not collect or store your payment information. Apple processes all transactions and provides us only with confirmation of a valid subscription status — not your name, payment method, or billing details. For information about Apple's data practices, please review Apple's Privacy Policy.
If you contact us for support via email, we will receive your email address and any information you include in your message. This information is used solely to respond to your inquiry.
We use the information we collect to:
ViseVault's pattern library is stored locally on your device. Your personal data — including saved favorites, collections, and preferences — is also stored locally on your device using Apple's standard on-device storage. This data does not leave your device unless you explicitly initiate a backup through Apple's iCloud Backup feature, which is governed by Apple's own privacy policy.
We do not sell, trade, rent, or otherwise transfer your personal information to third parties. We may share information only in the following circumstances:
ViseVault is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, please contact us at [email protected] and we will promptly delete that information.
We retain any support correspondence and diagnostic data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy or as required by law. You may request deletion of any personal data we hold by contacting us at [email protected].
Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including the right to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the information below.
California residents may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). Because we do not sell personal information, many CCPA provisions do not apply; however, you are welcome to contact us with any privacy-related questions.
Our App may contain links to third-party websites or services (for example, links to YouTube tutorials for pattern tying). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties and encourage you to review their privacy policies.
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect the information we hold. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
